We are skilled stylists offering a modern approach to hair. We specialize in modern cutting and color, including balayage and blonding experts.
We strive to provide a relaxed and friendly environment, and are open evenings and weekends for your convenience.

Halo has been my home as a stylist since 2017. I love cutting! Long hair, short hair; with precise lines, with tons of natural texture. One of the best things about my job is seeing clients learn to love their hair. I'm always happy to share my expertise about products and how to maintain your style at home. A stylist for almost 10 years, I was trained at the University City location of The Jean Madeline Aveda Institute and hold a Bachelor of Music from The University of the Arts. Always down to talk about old movies and pets!

After attending art school I decided to take my artistic career to the salon. I am a graduate of the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute and joined the Halo team as a Junior Stylist in 2021. Creating an inviting, supportive, and inclusive salon environment is very important to me. I love collaborating with clients to create the color transformation of their dreams as well as helping people express their true identity with exciting, alternative haircuts.
KENZIE
Stylist
After attending PB Cosmetology Education Center in 2011 and apprenticing at salons around the city, I joined Halo Hair in 2018. I am the lead colorist at our East Passyunk location and a color educator for Evo Hueverse, the color line we use in our salon. I love cutting long layered styles, shags and bobs. I am a color specialist focused on blonding, dimensional highlights and balayage. I’m a crazy blonde, crazy about blondes!

I’m fresh into the beauty industry, even though I’ve always had a passion for all things cosmetic. I graduated in 2022 at a private cosmetology school back in my home state of Kentucky. I started at Halo in the beginning of 2023 looking for a creative and driven group to be with. I love doing shaggy and textured haircuts. Color is where my passion lies and vivid intense colors have my heart. When I’m not at salon I’m typically at a concert, in nature, or playing with any animals I can get my hands on!

I am a master colorist at Halo where I have been for 3 years and in the beauty industry for 15 years- which i love every minute of! I started out as a makeup artist which transitioned into my being a stylist. The first salon i ever took clients at was in Brazil (which was amazing!) My specialties are long hair, thick hair, melted lived color, balayage, natural babylights, blended colors and platinum blonde!

I am an apprentice/junior stylist. My favorite services to do are textured/long haircuts, vivid color and blonding services. A little about me: I moved to Philly about 4 years ago, I’m a huge fan of music and the arts and always knew I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to be creative- doing hair has been a great outlet for that!

I started at Halo when we re-opened after the shutdown and have been taking clients for 2+ years now. I started doing hair when I had the opportunity to do a cosmetology program at the technical high school in my town and I haven’t looked back since. After moving to Philadelphia from Boston I eventually found myself working at Halo. I love doing edgy cuts and fun colors but equally enjoy creating natural looking balayage. In my free time I hang out with my cats and sometimes make music.

I am a junior stylist and have been with Halo Hair since November 2022. My favorite things to do behind the chair are dimensional and lived in highlights, layered haircuts, and loose beachy waves. In my spare time I love trying out new foods and restaurants around the city.

FAQ
Do you allow credit card tips?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Cash.
What is parking like?
There is free parking and metered parking available.
There is a paid lot about a block and a half north of the salon.
Do I need a consultation?
All new color clients are required to book a consultation before scheduling an appointment. All other services do not require a consultation!
