After 20 years behind the chair as a stylist, I decided to open Halo Hair. My philosophy around beauty and hair is that it never needs to be complicated. From the design of our space to the products we carry follows this philosophy. I'm excited to bring a different all-inclusive culture to the clients of Halo Hair.
Growing up in New Jersey in the early 2000s, I had an affinity for butterfly clips and glitter eyeshadow. I’ve always been obsessed with color, putting my first bright blonde skunk stripe in my hair at 15 and haven’t looked back since. My obsession with color led me to attend the PB Cosmetology Education Center in 2011. After apprenticing at salons around the city, I landed at Halo Hair where my creativity and drive have taken me further than I ever could’ve imagined. I’m so happy to call Halo my home!
I've been in the hair and beauty industry for 11 years and I love every minute of it. I started out as a makeup artist which transitioned into my being a hair colorist- which is my true passion. I enjoy the challenge of color corrections and my specialties are keratin treatments, blended colors, fantasy colors, and of course platinum blonde.
After a two year relocation to the DC area, I am very excited to be making my return to Philadelphia and feel especially lucky to find myself again working with Heather Garden. I love executing the latest color trends as well as crafting custom natural tones, and I dig big, transformative makeovers of all stripes. I've never met a textured pixie cut I didn't like. As a stylist for seven years, I was trained at the University City location of The Jean Madeline Aveda Institute and hold a bachelor of music from The University of the Arts.
With over 19 years behind the chair, I’m well versed in all facets of the industry. My favorite things (besides always learning new techniques) are hair coloring and extensions because the possibilities are endless. I’ve had my work published in the steampunk bible and various other indie magazines. My career has taken me from New York fashion week, to London fashion week, to backstage as a tech artist for some of the industry’s trade shows under some of the most famous artists in the industry! I also do film and editorial work, which gives me an eye for detail. I want everyone in my chair to bring out their inner goddess. Everyone deserves to feel special! Using total image consulting to customize looks for each individual guest...tailoring looks for your face shape, skin tone, and eye color. While I’m not doing hair, I’m busy being a mom of a beautiful red-headed 5-year-old boy named Daxx. We live in south Philly with my awesome boyfriend Seas. I love all nerdy things, lets talk nerd!
Raised in Austin, Texas, I've been a stylist for 8 years now. I love to balayage hair because there are many ways to enhance each individual's natural beauty. From soft, sunkissed highlights to ribbons of brightness, the options are endless! I also enjoy creating fun, vivid colors (my personal favorite is purple with hot pink). When I'm not playing with colors, I cut short hair and long hair as well. Whether it be fuller looks, long seamless layers, or piecey texture, I love creating beautiful hair!
